K9 Sentinels of Hope

About

We are a 501c3 non profit that serves retiring and/or retired police K9s. Most are not aware that retired police dogs are no longer funded by the agency who employed them during service, once retired. We raise funds to provide help to the handlers and support their dogs in retirement. We vow to house dogs whose handlers are unable to care for them after service and give them the best retirement they’ve earned. We also assist handlers to transition their police/military dog from active duty to civilian life. Lastly, funding also helps pay the cost of ballistic vests for active police dogs as this cost is not paid by the agency that employs the police dog.
